Fall under “The Spell of the Yukon” with the White Pass & Yukon Route, when you follow the trail of the Sourdoughs between Skagway, Alaska and Carcross Yukon. Follow the Skagway River up to the White Pass Summit and roll down into British Columbia to our restored 1903 station at Lake Bennett. Bennett has always been an important stop for the WP&YR. The Bennett Eating House is famous for its food and was an important stop in the railroad’s operations and tourism program. A one hour and forty-five minute layover at Bennett offers passengers a piping hot meal and a self-guided walking tour of the historic gold rush town-site. At the end of the layover passengers will re-board the train and resume their railroading adventure. For more information click here.

Experience both of the famous Gold Rush trails! Every year 3,000 hikers recreate this great trip by hiking the Chilkoot Trail. Once at Bennett you can reward yourself with a hot meal at the historic Bennett Eating House. Meals should be pre-purchased at the time of booking space aboard the train.
